It’s been a while since you’ve heard from us.  Life is busy with things like church, family and finishing a house.  Not much new though!

Jillian is growing up at a rapid pace and I’m trying to soak up every minute of it.  She is such a fun little girl and makes us laugh with all her goofiness.  She talks all day long and likes to sing with Mommy and Daddy.  She loves building towers, reading books, going puzzles and being a Mommy for her Doll.  The first thing she says when she sees Daddy is “wesle you” (wrestle you) and Daddy gladly gives in to that request.  Right now we are learning letters, numbers and colours and she loves it when I sit down with her to go over it all.  She loves being outside so here is hoping the snow waits for a little longer.

We are trying to get Jillian off her soother, since she is getting a nasty rash around her mouth from it.  Nights work pretty good, even though it takes her a bit longer to fall asleep.  Naps are impossible and since they’re way to important to me I usually give in and give her what she wants.  She has good naps, anywhere from 2-4 hours.

For a while we were fighting bath time.  She loves her bath, but hates getting her hair washed.  So my Mom brought me the life saver back from Germany (seen in the first picture) Now that the water doesn’t get in her eyes, she even gives us a hand with rinsing.

We have started building Jillian’s kitchen and have made good progress so far.  I think we should be done in time for Christmas, but I must say I’ve been lazy in the sewing department.  I’m not rushing myself though and whatever isn’t done by Christmas can wait till later - Jilli won’t care :)

I’m also recovering some chairs I had bought at MCC a while ago and that will be her Birthday gift.  I will post some pictures of that soon.
